I am an independent producer of videos for companies, organizations, and individuals. I'm originally from a small town in South Florida where I lived until age 17. I went to college in North Carolina, worked in news at two television stations in East Tennessee, and today I live in Downtown Knoxville.
My work background includes television news (TN Associated Press Award - Best Spot News Photography), market research and analysis at a Fortune 500 company, owning and operating a downtown retail store, and public relations and marketing of a commercial downtown district.
I'm lucky enough to be married to a woman I would normally hope to only admire from a distance. I still wonder at my good fortune. Mary has been a journalist at several newspapers, and now is an established professional high-level marketing professional.

Simply put, George Scott does outstanding work. He is professional, timely, creative, hardworking and respectful of the process and those who are involved. During the pandemic, our church was suddenly thrust into the virtual world. George helped guide us through that process to create moving and inspiring worship services that were shared with an audience here and, literally, across the world. George has an excellent eye for what makes a great shot and a keen sense of how it might fit into the overall narrative or purpose of the action that is taking place.
