Turnaround time is actually ridiculously good. My first time going and they had my photos back the very next day. Good quality and they seem to really care about vintage cameras. Staff here is actually friendly too (unlike Mike's Camera). I think this will be my new place to get films developed and they have TONS of vintage cameras for you to check out.

A friendly staff member took a lot of time out to help me get started with the gear I'd need to start developing my own film. I didn't purchase a camera, but the store seemed to have an extensive assortment of film cameras and lenses from large format to medium format to 35mm.

This Is one of the only camera shops around in my area and I am very lucky because the staff here are extremely helpful and nice

I called Photo Source for advice on a vintage Leica camera I received from my dad. I drove from Lake Tahoe to Sacramento because I had a good vibe on the phone from Lorenzo, the manager. He told me all about the camera and accessories ( I am not a photo guy ) and the approximate value. So instead of buying it from me he convinced me to keep it and showed me how to make a nice display with it to honor my parents ( both now deceased ) who were really into pictures and 8mm film.

He would not take any money for helping me, so since my family has a lot of 35mm slides, 8mm film and old VHS tapes I am going to try to convince my siblings to use his services to digitize everything. Lorenzo is old school, honest and what a great shop! A lot of history there! Thank you to Lorenzo for keeping me from making a mistake. Highly recommend this place, even if you want to just go look at camera history.

Alright guys, we all need to support Photo Source. They are one of the only photo stores in the Sacramento area, and they are great. You can buy new and used gear, film (that's right!), developing chemicals, and other random supplies you don't find anywhere else. They even have a dark room for rent. Let's keep these guys around forever! I just went in again for some hard to find film gear, and Photo Source delivered again! Thanks guys.

I had a large print done the day before thanksgiving and they let me know that it was ready and that they were closing at five. I had a plumbing emergency and couldn't pick it up that day. I posted on a few Facebook groups asking if there was another place that I could go to the day after Thanksgiving to get another print made. Figured I would just have to eat the cost since Photo Source would not open again until the following Monday.

The owner of the Photo Source company saw my post and met me there the day after Thanksgiving to give me my print even though they were closed until that Monday. They've always been a great source of service and I just had to let people know what a great company this is.

Really happy with their services! I've been coming here almost weekly for development and scans. They're super speedy and do a great job. They set reasonable turnaround times and exceed them. They've also got a great film selection that's stored in the fridge at a proper temp. The other places around town usually keep it at room temp, so I'm glad to see them follow manufacturer guidelines.

Friendly helpful service. They had nearly everything I needed for the trip. I would go back to take a closer look at their vintage camera selection.

This place is a professional photographers haven. They have helped me MANY times with different issues ( Some no charge, just super cool kind helpful people ). I feel so fortunate to be able to get my gear needs in this local place. Recently they saved me with the rental of a lens. Their rates are very reasonable, they are very friendly easy to work with. I have been a customer since the beginning and still recommend them often. They are my go to people.
