Create my DVD is family owned and operated, located in Fairfield County - Bethel, Connecticut (CT). My experience has shown that the service we offer is NOT easy 'do it yourself' work. Even those off the shelf DVD Recorders produce marginal results at best, They are infamous for dropping frames that cause the video to lose sync with the voice.

Film Transfer Report

John - Working with you was a pleasure. My father was killed in an accident in 1982 and to me those 10 second of him playing with me as a baby are priceless. I appreciate you working with me when I requested to drop the films off and pick them up. I can't believe how clear the film was restored to upon the conversion and how vibrant you made the color.

Slides Report

The owner of the slides was about to discard many of them because he thought they were beyond repair. After I color corrected his slides manually, he was simply amazed by the results and very thankful that he used our slide scanning services instead of discarding his slides. This is just a small sample of 1000's of slides we scanned for a small CT town's picnics and are now preserved to digital images on DVD for the town to remember.

Our prices Report

Frame by Frame process does not capture sound from sound film, therefore your film needs to be run twice to capture sound. The sound is then merged and synced back to the film transfer. The is a time consuming process that is why we have to charge more for sound film. If a tape is less than 15 minutes in length, two could be combined together for addition $10.
