We cannot recommend Boston Event Lighting enough! We used Boston Event Lighting to help transform our wedding reception space into a celestial disco dance party, and boy did they deliver! James was an attentive consult. He took the time to join us on a sight visit, drafted a plan, and then topped the plan day of! The lighting made for some SPECTACULAR pictures and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. If you're on the fence about lighting for your event, just do it!

James Biller from Boston Event Lighting DJ'd my 21st birthday and it was amazing! I could not have imagined a better lighting set up in coordination with the best playlist. He synced the lighting to the music and got exactly the vibe I was looking for. I didn't realize it was his first time DJing because it was so great! Boston Event Lighting is absolutely incredible and is one of the many reasons our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was a night to remember! I contacted Boston Event Lighting to add some uplighting and dance floor lighting to our venue for our 9/25/21 wedding. We had the privilege of working with Boston Event Lighting for our wedding on 9/5/2021 at the Intercontinental Boston. As a covid bride, planning a wedding during a pandemic was certainly not easy! With with many moving parts and constant changes, James Biller was able to accommodate us every step of the way. He kept in contact and was available whenever I had a question or concern. James and the Boston Event Lighting Team was able to bring our wedding dreams to life!

They offered so many great ideas. The pin spoting and uplighting was absolutely flawless. Pricing was also very reasonable. Thank you for making our day so memorable! It was a true fairytale!

I used BEL for a large work event and they were absolutely amazing. 100% 5 stars! I called around and they were to only people who went the extra step to do everything. Other places were trying to make me manage sub venders and get in the right equipment, BEL did all that stuff for us and made it much easier. The end look was amazing and our whole company was blown away. I worked mostly with James but all they guys over there were awesome and friendly!

Boston Event Lighting was amazing! They were my favorite vendor to work with for our wedding! They went above and beyond to customize the lighting for our wedding venue and even when there were last minute issues with our venue, James went out of his way to ensure success regardless of the venue issues and everything was absolutely gorgeous. The lighting was that extra touch we needed. I would recommend them 100X over again.

Boston Event Lighting did a great job at our wedding. They handled the technical stuff directly with the venue so it was stress-free for my fiance and I, and James was super friendly and easy to work with. We had lights strung both indoors and outdoors, both set ups looked absolutely perfect!

James Biller was so great to work with for lighting for my wedding. First off, just great pricing. I felt good about the decision from the get-go because I saw the company had done weddings at some of the nicest venues in Boston and they were familiar with the space at the State Room. The package included delivery and installation. James was super quick with responding to me and checked in consistently which was great, because this is one of the decisions I kept putting off and it was really stressing me out.

He came off very honest and not like he was trying to push other things on me or go out of my budget or overcharge me so I'm very grateful for that. I really just wanted some simple white uplighting. He accomplished this wonderfully in the Great Room at the State Room with a focus on the pillars from all three slides - and he also lit the draping for our ceremony.

He did some additional uplighting to fill the room out and it made all the difference! He planned a little programming when the dance music got going too with little direction from us (awesome) - and chatted with the band to do their lighting for them! Great experience - highly recommend!

We used Boston Event Lighting for our wedding in September 2019. We did a lot of researched with a lot of different companies and James at Boston Even Lighting gave us the best quote by far. The uplighting was a very important aspect of our wedding and James was very responsive to all of our inquiries leading up to the event. There are videos on the website to show all the different types of lights and colors available. James suggested using the programmable lights which change colors to the music. We weren't sure exactly how that worked but trusted James and it turned out to be fantastic. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and family.

Great service from start to finish! The process was made easy and performed all on line. They were efficient and turn key making the process effortless on our part. The lighting we chose added just the right touch and was specifically noted by the guests. We would definitely use their service again.
