From the looks of it, the festival itself is very reputed and well organized. However, the communication to the filmmakers who submit their films to this fest is absolute zero, or that's what I experienced. Not a single response to any emails sent. Was very excited for this fest with my submission and this was the only festival I submitted to very early on, but the lack of communication from their side was disappointing.

I could not afford it but I watched from across the street in the Ledbetter Beach parking lot. I watched the opening movie Roger came out and started the festivities. I watched a movie about migrant workers really hit close to home. I'm a child of migrant workers.

Wow this just brings the worst tourists. I nearly get hit by someone every year. And seriously the pretentious conversations are always mindnumbingly infuriating. Please respect the locals.
