Wahoo Films

We've worked with Wahoo on several short Oregon films and they've been incredible to work with: from story creation, talent management, filming to editing. The end result is always a beautiful, compelling story.

We entrusted Wahoo with the sacred story of our history and the experiences of our ancestors. We gave them access to our most precious resource- our elders, the knowledge keepers. We asked Wahoo to take the lead in sharing our story and history with others. The magnitude and importance of this project were huge to us as tribal members. Wahoo led us through the process and guided us down a path we had never traversed.

They were kind and patient and used their expertise to tell our story compellingly and movingly. They listened to what we valued and why and let that guide aspect of development. They took the project beyond what we anticipated in adding animation to capture aspects of emotion that could have otherwise been lost. They developed mapping cinematography that brought home points where mere words would have failed.

They were respectful of our unique cultural perspectives and our work process. We ended our relationship with Wahoo as more than just professional acquaintances but as friends who we would gladly welcome back to our community anytime.
