Recently MLD a beloved Video Rental business was bought by MPE in 2022. I have rented with MLD for a few years, and have made friendships, grew in my art, supporting MLD by choosing it to be the proprietor of my rental needs. The last 2 stops in MPE left me uneasy, unsatisfied and leveraged. Both of my recent rentals have NOT gone smoothly, the receptionist Anna responded so poorly for a lady that I assumed would treat customers better given that we was twice my age.

Who went on the argue with me in the lobby of the building and asked my to return several hours later. Do better Anna. MPE does not value local creators. I was pushed aside this morning after contacting MPE several hours advance for a simple rental house item that they said would be available. This doesn't scream competency and even worse in this world, being rude.

I was embarrassed on you alls behalf this morning. Goodbye MPE, I went to Bolt productions and in 10 minutes that helped me get what I needed and my shoot was a WIN! NOT Bc MPE, shame on you and shame on you hurting artists in this business.

For local rentals, I won't go anywhere else. Super friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to helping you select the right gear for your project. 10/10 in my book.high quality, well-cared for rental equipment.

Good and knowledgeable people. It's not L.A. or New York so if you need less common gear just be sure to give a little lead time in case they don't have it in house as they will need to source from out of state. But otherwise great!

Needed to rent gear three business days out from shoot and have it delivered to location. Ben and the MP&E group totally hooked us up and was brilliant to work with. They made the rental process a breeze with top of-the-line gear. I highly recommend MP&E (hdgear.tv) for your rental needs.

I was trying to find simple pricing on renting two Canon lenses for the weekend. Their website had me give them a bunch of personal information so they could email an "estimate" which told me nothing about pricing. I just wanted to find a price for renting a lens and they made it waaaaay too hard to get what I felt like was simple info :/ **Edit: raised review from 1 star to 2 stars because they did eventually email me a price estimate for the rentals (20-30 min later), but they also used the number I provided them with to call me and confront me about my low Google review. This misuse of my personal information is the exact reason I was afraid to give out my info in the first place.

My first wedding a couple years back I needed a camera for my second shooter and they helped me out. When I needed a lens for another photoshoot they were the first ones I went to. I have an upcoming wedding that again I will need their expertise and I will recommend them again and again in the future even when I think I have all the gear I need. These guys are helpful and they have everything to meet your photography (and cinema) needs.

MP&E is our go to rental house for any and all of our rental needs. I personally have been renting from them for over 5+ years and have never needed to go to any other rental house. Their staff is top notch and they have basically everything you could ever need gear wise.

They're incredibly nice and understanding. They helped us solve whatever problem we had and made sure we were all set before we left.

John and Anna were helpful while we tried lenses, shoulder rigs and other gear; will definitely help out with our production needs. Must visit if you want any good gear in DFW.

They stayed open an extra 30 minutes as I was running late to pick up my equipment. A very straight forward process and helpful staff.

Great selection of equipment to choose from and great customer service. Even a small order like c-stands and silks, and I was still treated like a big-order customer. A larger sign outside the building for first-hand customers would be nice, but once you know where it is, it's like you're part of a club.
